Keep Doing What You're Doing
Sue S. - Fresno 2010

I was on the main yard of both women's prisons this weekend. God was at work with these women and all praise and glory goes to Him. They were broken and eager to pray and ask Jesus into their lives. After Sandy shared, I stood up and looked and there were 30 women waiting to pray. The circle kept getting bigger and bigger. I even saw two women that were in West Valley Detention Center which is where Bill Glass held a Day of Champions back in November.

On the way home, traveling alone, I had a blowout on the 99 freeway just outside of Tulare, 120 miles from home. After calling AAA, I waited for a while when a semi truck driver pulled over to see if he could help. He said, "Let's time how long it takes for them to come and see if we can get this done". I told him where I had come from, a prison ministry weekend. He told me he had spent three years locked up near the Arizona border. He encouraged me to keep doing what we are doing, telling me it made a difference in his life and he has been clean and sober ever since. So I write this to encourage us all. We never know how, when and where God is going to work, but even with a blowout, He is faithful.
