Bill Glass Champions For Life is how God answered my prayer to fulfill a calling to serve in prison ministry. At the end of April 2010 I met Jeff Aten, his wife Stephanie, and son Alex. The enthusiasm in which they shared their first and ongoing experience with this prison ministry was contagious. The AWE-SA-MAZING (awesome and amazing) acts of our glorious Father working through willing servant instruments to bring the salvation message of Jesus Christ to the lost has impacted my life like never before. I liken their, and now my, contagious enthusiasm to that of what happened on the Day of Pentecost when the power of the Holy Spirit, like a fire, set ablaze in the hearts of believers the work of the Great Commission. Greater is my love for our Abba Father, and greater is my agape love for the women I listened and spoke to. Two I spent time with gave their life to Christ; many rededicated their life; others were strengthened to stand up and be a witness to "bunkies", cellmates and others who God has shown them to share the Gospel message of Christ. I am living my life being mindful in my daily walk as written in Galatians 2:20, and 2 Corinthians 5:20.  What an amazing opportunity I have been granted. Many of the women shared/rejoiced because of the quality of entertainment and the biblical truths of every platform guest on how to overcome pain and destruction; restored, hope, and blessed living only by and through keeping your eye on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They also were certain to express their appreciation that we thought enough of them to come and visit. They were impacted by the same contagious enthusiasm and brought others with them to come see, hear, and left believing. I must continue, and am grateful to be a part of this great army of teammates; 2 Corinthians 1:9-10. The hurt little girl inside of me was healed even more. To whom much is given, much is required; glorious are the gifts God has entrusted to me. Pray for me that I will pray earnestly in every promise I made, for this ministry, and every teammate.
