Matt delivers a unique blend of styles he calls "Blue-eyed Soul". Not just a singer, this musician builds guitar playing, trumpet playing, and poignant lyrics into songs that light up any listener. From coffeehouses to Nashville theatres, Matt brings down the house. He has played for Delbert McClinton, the Temptations, The Fours Tops, The Drifters, The Tommy Dorsey Big Band, The Reverand Al Green, and he has toured Europe with the Continental Brass & Singers. A frequent guest in Memphis, Matt has appeared at the W.C. Handy Blues Awards, and the King Biscuit Blues Festival. He has performed at B.B. King's Blues Club and recorded at the House of Blues recording studio in Memphis as well. but it's not the fancy venues that draw Matthew, it's the people.
