Jay Jones is Corporate Chaplain of the Blue Bird Body Corporation in Fort Valley, GA, where he serves as the spiritual leader to thousands of employees and their family members.
Chaplain Jones’ ministry extends beyond the walls of the corporate office into the greater Atlanta area and across the country. He has served the past 16 years as a platform speaker for the Bill Glass Champions For Life Ministry, the largest prison ministry in the world. He speaks to numerous death row inmates and youth offenders, resulting in thousands of converts for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As a highly sought after motivational speaker he travels extensively throughout the United States and overseas preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has been the guest motivational speaker for many corporations, including the NFL, NBA and major baseball teams. His overseas travels include Seoul South Korea, Dominican Republic, Japan, as well as Beijing China.
Jay retired from service at the White House in Washington D.C., where he served two terms under President William J. Clinton and two terms under President George W. Bush. Presently, he serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Christians Counseling Services, Inc., the Hopson Foundation, Bill Glass Champions For Life Ministry and the Flint River Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In addition, he is attending Luther Rice Theological Seminary and has received certificates of training in Expository Preaching and Teaching and Expository Preaching and Spiritual Growth from Olford Ministries International.
He has devoted his life to winning lost souls for the Kingdom. He is motivated by his love for people, his love for preaching and his belief that no one is beyond God’s reach. His passion is to develop dynamic disciples who will impact the world for Jesus in such a way that lives are transformed, families are strengthened and those who are bound are freed.
