Charles Krauss

On December 7th, 1997, Charles was released from prison for the third and final time.  He was to report to a Knoxville, Tennessee halfway house because he had no family that would help him.  Instead, Charles started hitchhiking to Oklahoma which violated his parole.  He was picked up by a little old lady who shared her life story and how God has taken care of her and her 2 daughters since the death of her husband.  When she dropped Charles off in Nashville he felt the goodness of God.  He was scared because here he was out again and he knew he could not make it without some help.  He fell to his knees and cried out to God.  He got on bus and went to the halfway house in Knoxville.  Since that moment he has been serving the Lord and God has blessed him.

Charles has been going into prisons with Champions For Life since 1999.
