As you know, our mission is to “assist the church by inspiring and igniting believers to share their faith with the least of these.” We need financial resources and volunteer support to accomplish this mission. And the large majority of our support comes from our very own teammates, those men and women who volunteer and serve with us at our prison and youth events.
How Can I Become Part of First Team?
You become part of First Team, by committing to a monthly contribution to the work of Champions for Life, or committing to an annual gift of at least $240. Your monthly gift will support work in your region and around the country in each of our ministries:
- Weekend of Champions and Day of Champions to visit incarcerated men, women and youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Champions for Today events in schools to reach students.
- Ring of Champions teams across the country working to mentor at-risk incarcerated youth.
What Does My Participation Mean to Champions For Life?
Your participation in First Team is a vital component in the effort to fund our existing ministry efforts, and steadily increasing our First Team participation is an important component in planning for the growth of this ministry in the years ahead. We are deeply grateful for your participation!
How Do My Gifts Make a Difference?
Our current budget of nearly $3 Million per year, with nearly 80,000 decisions for Christ, this means that for every $40 you give to this ministry, a life is being changed! We are very excited about this return on investment, and how a relatively small investment of money can reap such a wonderful benefit!
Imagine:
A gift of $240 this year will lead to 6 life changing decisions
And a gift of $2,400 will lead to a 60 life changing decisions
