Bill
Glass Biography
He
made a name for himself as one of the most outstanding
football players in the National Football League.
He was a consensus All American at Baylor University
. Working with his life-long friend, Dr. Bill Bright,
he helped establish the Campus Crusade for Christ
chapter on the Baylor Campus.
He was a member of the 1964 Cleveland Browns team
who beat the Baltimore Colts to win the NFL World
Championship two years prior to the first Super Bowl.
Four - time All Pro and College and Texas Sports
Hall of Fame were some of Bill’s athletic
credentials. He finally retired in 1969 after 22
yrs in amateur and professional football without
missing a work out or game.
Bill spent the off-season of his Pro Football career
attending Southwestern Seminary. As his football
career was drawing to a close, Bill delivered his
personal testimony of faith on television during
several Billy Graham Crusades. Dr. Graham urged
Bill to consider taking on a new career as a city-wide
evangelist.
In 1969
he founded Bill Glass Ministries , which today
is called Bill
Glass Champions for Life. After spending all
those years playing football in front of thousands,
he now shares the Good News with thousands. The
highlight of his life has been sharing “The
Healing Power of a Father’s Blessing”
message in and out of prisons all over the world.

Mavis and Bill have
three grown children - Billy, Bobby and Mindy.
Bill and Mavis enjoy their eight grandchildren,
and make their home near Dallas , Texas.
