Tallahassee, FL DOC Thank You Letter

Friday night – Ramada Inn – Special Guests
Training and Spiritual Enrichment set the stage for an awesome Tallahassee Day of Champions Event. Alex Taylor, Florida Department of Corrections Head Chaplain, and his right hand man, Chaplain Doug Gingerich started the evening with words of encouragement and thanks that really touch our hearts.

The one and only Bob “The Sting� Cole and his lovely wife Betty joined us for the evening and Bob shared some of his incredible stories about traveling with Bill Glass for over 30 years.

Saturday morning – Blue Skies, Afternoon Monsoon, Holy Ghost Presence, Victory
Wakulla CI is a Faith-based prison with great Chaplains and many excellent Christian programs. Nevertheless, 156 recorded decisions for a closer relationship with Jesus Christ were made at Wakulla CI. Even though monsoon rains came down after lunch and washed out the afternoon programs, a total of 682 decisions were made at the 3 men’s facilities and the women’s prison.

Gadsden CI women’s prison
This is one of our favorite prisons to visit. Chaplain Dorothy Hilton has developed an outstanding Chaplaincy programs that sets the standards for women’s prisons across America. The staff could not have been more professional or helpful in making it a huge success and a special day to remember.

Newlywed Harriet Butler and Belle of the South Ethel Duncan led the women’s Team of 60 plus Teammates. Jessica & Scotty Santiago were the Biker Leaders. The Holy Spirit showed up and it turned out to be a major celebration as Teammates and Inmates claimed the Victory won at Calvary 2000 years ago. 231 total decisions for Christ. PTL !!

Nancy Johnson had several hundred female inmates singing and dancing to “We are Family�.  Stephanie Miller always gets everyone’s attention and sets the stage for the Teammates to share with the Inmates. After lunch, Keith Davis blew the place away with his awesome show.

Great story at Madison CI – one of many
New Jersey Biker Teammate Gene Honrath led a Spanish inmate to the Lord. Several minutes later the inmate returned with a friend who didn’t speak English. Gene gave the 2 inmates the Bill Glass Spanish tract “Que Piensas?� (“What do YOU think?�), and the inmate who received the Lord 5 minutes before, led his friend to Jesus!!
