San Antonio, TX WOC Thank You Letter

2009: “The Year of Change in the United States of America.� President Obama sworn into office, and immediately started signing Executive orders. CHANGE IS HERE - READY OR NOT. Let’s pray for our president!
In 2006 we had 319 teammates and 1870 decisions for the San Antonio Weekend of Champions, and in 2009 we had 320 teammates and 2277 decisions. The harvest was twenty percent more, praise God!
Consider this: three years ago we were thriving and the economy booming. However, we didn’t raise the budget for the event. This year Jack Parker raised much of the budget when he hosted a fund raiser on December 8th. Was it change you wanted? Yes! How does 2,277 changed lives sound?
In trying times, and when things look darkest, Christ shines the brightest. Men and women, young and old, turned their eyes to Christ. Raising money during tough economic times is not the greatest miracle! The Greatest Miracle is when someone steps from darkness to light and receives the precious gift of God and the hope of eternity.Â
Sharing this message has been my calling and I thank Him daily for those of you who have joined me, and sacrificially given of your time and treasure to serve at the events and to help fund our continuing ministry effort. You are the real “Dedicates� in the army of God. Saying yes, and then asking, “What is the assignment?� I am enclosing an application for the upcoming Huntsville, TX Weekend of Champions on March 5-7. We need 800 volunteers, men, women, and bikers to effectively reach the inmate population with the message of Christ. You can also sign up on the web site at www.billglass.org by February 11. See you in March!
