Fresno, CA WOC Thank You Letter

Thanks so much for serving at the Fresno weekend.  We have so much wonderful history in Fresno, with so many great leaders, friends and dedicates.  It is one of my favorite teams and venues.  I really wanted to be there, but as you know, I had surgery this week, and I could not travel to Fresno. 

I am so grateful for the special participation by The Bridge and the Peoples Church.  I heard that Pastor Hansen’s message on “Feet� was very inspiring.  I am so grateful for my dear friend Pastor GL Johnson, Pete Gavrilis, and their team for their transportation help, and their great Saturday night banquet.  

The reports from the weekend have been so encouraging.  Randy and Christy Rocca, and their entire team did a wonderful job of serving.  Their efforts, along with the work of all our staff, platform guests, and over 400 teammates, led to 1316 first time decisions for Christ, and another 2100 decisions to rededicate and reaffirm their commitment.

God is so good, allowing us to complete a “good work� before the California Department of Corrections made the decision to shut the entire prison system due to the Swine Flu epidemic.  They debated closing down to visitors during our weekend but thankfully the decision was delayed until two days Monday.   Praise God!

We continue to trust God for his provision during this difficult time in our economy.  Thank you for your participation and service.  You are appreciated, and may God richly bless you.  And thank you for your prayers for my surgery and recovery as well.
