Bonham & Gatesville, TX DOCs Thank You Letter

Greeting Teammates,

This is an historical first for CFL, a Female only Event coupled with a Male only Event 200 miles apart. Two notable facts … Alan Mann, one of our Senior Coordinators, directed his first event in Bonham, TX and Donna Morris, Administrative Supervisor of the Prison Department, directed her first event in Gatesville, TX. Both did great jobs and both never questioned when asked to expand their comfort zone. I commend both for this attitude.  I also commend the first timers (Freshmen) for stepping out of their own personal comfort zone and obeying the Spirit that called them to a prison yard this weekend. The combined results are eternally wonderful: 799 decisions and 45 first time teammates. We thank you all for serving the Lord with us and we hope to see you again; “the fields are white and the laborers are fewâ€� …..  The Kingdom needs you and we need you to help reach as many as we can at every event. To God be the glory.

Everyone gave of their time and money to travel which shows a great level of commitment. I would ask you to pray about becoming a member of First Team. This is our monthly support program. Monthly support in every area of our state and country will be stronger if we can budget for the annual ministry.  Budgeting will allow us to expand when funds are available and be better stewards.  We have a goal of reaching “doubleâ€� the prisons and “doubleâ€� the inmates that can hear the “good newsâ€�.  Again, you must pray and God must tell you to SOW INTO FERTILE SOIL.

We will be back in the North Texas area in our DFW Weekend of Champions November 13-15, and we will be in the Houston Harris Co Jail October 2-4.  Please visit our website to register for these two important events.
